leaving corporate
I was grateful to be able to take a nice break from work over the summer to recover from burnout, then I returned to work for a couple of months before finally accepting a new job at a small company. I am excited to be able to take a break from corporate and to continue to recover from that time. I'm still continuing with my second career in Data Science though, which is still enjoyable and doable for me.
...learning to paint
I started rage painting last summer during stressful work meetings. I've always struggled with art because I've always felt like I was bad at it. This has been an exercise in moving away from my perfectionism, and just enjoying creating something. I recently painted my first piece on a small canvas.
